GENESIS CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
RESULTS

ELIGIBILITY / TIME / DATE

  • Owners of a complete tournament regulation IBCGame Deck (9 Battle Cards, 3 Utility Cards and 1 Special Card) are eligible to participate in the Genesis Championship. 

  • All pre-existing IBCGame Starter Deck Owners have been registered. For new IBCGame Starter Deck purchases that occur after 12 July 2022, registration is open now by going to the Nots NFT Discord and confirming your status as an "IBCGamer" in the Interplanetary Battle Cards channel. 

  • REGISTRATIONS OPEN NOW from 12 JULY 2022 - 2PM UTC . 

  • REGISTRATIONS CLOSE on 18 JULY 2022 - 2PM UTC. 

  • GENESIS CHAMPIONSHIP matches commence on and from 19 JULY 2022 - 2PM UTC. 

  • Once the bracket reaches the Grand Final, the GENESIS CHAMPIONSHIP is paused and Tangled CosmNT will organise a specific time / date for a LIVE GRAND FINALE (in-game using the Nots NFT Discord and commentary via Twitter Spaces).

CODE OF CONDUCT 

  • Treat all competitors as you like to be treated. Be respectful. 

  • Do not bully, be disrespectful or take unfair advantage of another competitor.

RULES

  • The Official IBC Game Manual v 2.3 of 12 June 2022 applies - "TOURNAMENT / COMPETITION" Rules apply.  

  • The Official IBC Game Score Tool v 2.0 of 12 June 2022 - applies.

PRIZES

  • Prizes are as announced via the @tanglednfts Twitter account. These prizes are indicative and subject to change at Tangled CosmNT absolute discretion. 

 

FORMAT

  • 16 person double elimination format. 

  • All matches except Winners Final, Losers Final and Grand Final are First to 2 Wins. 

  • Winners Final, Losers Final and Grand Final are First to 3 Wins (bracket reset rule applies for Grand Final).

IN-GAME PROCEDURE / PROTOCOL

Pre-game 

  • You must make reasonable endeavours to conduct your match within the allocated timeframe. If you are unavailable during your allocated timeframe, but your opponent is available, your opponent wins by default (and vice versa). If both players are available during the allocated timeframe, but not at the same time (due to timezone differences), please notify Tangled CosmNT as soon as possible. Match will be determined by chance via random name picker in a First to 2 Wins. 

In-game​

  • At the commencement of your game, you must validate the ownership of your IBC Game NFTs by supplying your OmniFlix wallet address to your opponent (Tangled CosmNT recommends making an IBC Game specific wallet). 

  • During the first match, both players must declare the 13 card deck they intend to use. 

  • During subsequent matches, only the loser of a match can make changes to their 13 card deck (these changes must be declared before the start of the match). 

Issues​

  • If there are any CODE of CONDUCT, RULES or PROCEDURE / PROTOCOL issues, a player can formally raise this by tagging Tangled CosmNT for action (which can take up to 24 hours). The Match is paused until issue is resolved.  

Tournament Organiser discretion â€‹

  • Tangled CosmNT has absolute discretion to make determinations on any aspect of the game, the tournament and the outcome of a match. Any such determination is final.
